Essential
Experience and knowledge
Strategic leadership and substantial management experience with a successful track record leading a business entity, a commercially-orientated public enterprise or a national voluntary organisation
Understanding of collaborative working and a partnership approach and able to facilitate collective decision making
Successful experience of developing and implementing innovative strategic plans an monitoring performance against agreed objectives
Experience of being accountable to a Board, acting as a trusted adviser and taking responsibility for implementation of decisions
Experience of successful leading the implementation of a sustainability initiative
A successful track record in building effective partnerships and developing and sustaining influential relationships with multiple stakeholders in the private and public sector
Outstanding presentation skills, at ease handling all parts of the media
Experience of successfully holding full P&L responsibility, able to develop effective financial strategies and skills in identifying and implementing new funding
